What is Assetgrid?
Assetgrid is a personal finance dashboard.
Many personal finance tools are centered around budgets and require you to organize your finances around that. Assetgrid is first and foremost a tool to collect and organize your personal finance data. How you want to explore your financial data is up to you.
Assetgrid will soon support budgets, but it will also allow you to see how much money you spent on pizza the last 3 months, or find a receipt from a purchase you made and need to return, or keep track of whether or not your roommate has paid rent this month.
This will be achieved through a combination of several systems.
- Metadata. Add any information you want to your transactions, be it images, documents, text or relations to other transactions and accounts.
- Automation. Assetgrid allows you to create rules to automatically categorize and process your data.
- A powerful query engine and flexible reports. Assetgrid will let you query your finances in any way you want and store those queries in reports for quick access.
